COMMUNITY

MIK Korean Music Festival is committed to making sure that the event minimises disruption to park users and the local community. The organisers are also actively looking to engage with residents and create opportunities for performers, local traders, and workers from the local area to be involved, as well as ongoing investment into a local community fund.

WORK EXPERIENCE

LS Events and the MIK Team will offer 3 event assistant roles for the residents from the Southwark community during the show. If you are interested in applying please send your CV to community@mikfestival.com for more information.

COMMUNITY FUND

For MIK Music Festival at Southwark Park in 2022, the organisers launched the Southwark Park Community Fund.
The fund itself will be open to applications from local individuals, charities, organisations, and local groups that are connected to Southwark Park and its local area. The fund is intended to assist with activities or projects linked with both the park and the surrounding area.
We will be giving a percentage of proceeds from merchandise sales to create the community fund.
More detail on how to apply to the fund will be added here shortly.
